FAQS
1: What is the "wellness" in Luke Chiropractic and Wellness?
Most people come to our office when they are really hurting after a new
injury. Chiropractic works great to get them better and back on their
feet. Rather than stopping care the moment the pain subsides, we suggest
corrective care to correct the underlying problems that lead to the
incident in the first place. Once you reach a healing plateau, we
encourage ongoing wellness care to maintain an optimal level of health.
Wellness care includes not only periodic chiropractic adjustments, but
lifestyle changes including exercise, good nutrition, and home therapies
designed to help you reach your full potential. It is not just about
being pain-free but about living life to the fullest.
2: How do I know if chiropractic can help me?
Chiropractic can help a large array of problems for all kinds of
people. Feel free to use the E-coupon in our site to receive your free
initial exam and consult. After your evaluation we can tell you if we can
help you and how much it would cost you to receive care. You may also
E-mail Dr. Luke with questions or call him to explain your condition.
3: Can Chiropractic work with motor vehicle accident or work injuries?
Yes! You may choose a chiropractor for treatment for these injuries, and
as a rule your treatment should be covered at 100%. Dr. Luke has earned
his certification in acute spinal trauma and has a lot of experience
with these types of injuries.
4: How much does chiropractic care cost?
This depends on your condition and your needs. After a thorough
examination we will let you know our recommendations, and work with you
to set up a treatment plan and financial strategy. We are preferred
providers for most insurance companies including Medicaid and Medicare,
and can look up your coverage while you are in the office. We have
excellent cash plans for patients without insurance and have special
student and artist discounts. Please use the enclosed exam certificate
to come in for our evaluation and we can go from there. The most
important thing is to get you the care you need.
5: Will chiropractic adjustments hurt?
We offer very gentle chiropractic care, and most patients find it quite
relaxing. Patients have different preferences with the strength of
adjustments. Some enjoy very firm adjustments and others very light
ones. We will work with your unique needs to find what is right for you.
Dr. Luke is trained in Activator technique which is a very gentle
alternative for adjusting.
6: Can chiropractic work with post-surgical problems, pregnancy, infants, sports injuries, disabled patients etc?
